Guelph Humber has a new vaccination policy starting January 2022 according to the standards of the guidance from the Ontario Human Rights Commission. Based on the commission’s decisions starting next year this news may be subject to change.
In order to access campus during the winter semester of 2022 at Guelph Humber students and staff must use the Humber Guardian app. All members entering campus facilities will be required to perform a daily screening each time they come to campus.
Vaccinated students will be exempt from the 72 hours COVID-test rule. Any students who have yet to take the vaccine will be required to take a COVID test to prove a negative result in order to enter campus. The COVID test results are only valid for up to 72 hours which would mean students and staff must take a COVID test every 3 days if they are not vaccinated.
Students and staff without a medical or human rights exemption will not be able to enter campus regardless of the COVID testing policy. Those who are exempt will be offered free COVID testing on-site.
Interesting update glad I got the vaccine early so I don't have to worry about this
