The Covid-19 vaccine mandate in Canada for on-campus institutions has put some students through tough decisions.

A student from The University Of Saskatchewan named Jimmy Ding claims his religion does not allow him to take the vaccine. Regardless of the logistics, a student such as Jimmy Dang had to make the choice between remaining on campus and attending his program by taking the vaccine or being evicted from campus.

Mr. Ding had been residing at St. Andrew’s College while pursuing a degree in geological engineering. Due to Ding’s choices influenced by his religion, he has since been evicted and is now in contact with Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission (SHRC).

The University of Saskatchewan has been working with Mr. Ding to find an alternative solution for his uncommon situation.
