Different universities across Ontario have implemented a variety of services, groups, and resources, for under-graduate and post-graduate Indigenous students, and here’s how you can find them.
Indigenous student services and resources are essential for Indigenous students as they progress through their education; however, these services are not always made known or promoted throughout the school.
Ontario Universities’ Indigenous Student Resources is a sub-organization of the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre, or OUAC, that bridges students to indigenous resources available at any Ontario university. The website is easy to navigate and provides links to different University home pages, providing brief summaries of the different resources offered, including student Indigenous resources.

Resources, groups, and school services catered towards the mental, cultural, and educational support of Indigenous students, are methods to ensure students have access to all the facilities they need to complete their degree or diploma with ease.
Here's an example of Brock University's Indigenous Resources:

Visit https://www.ontariouniversitiesindigenous.ca/ to find out if your school provides these necessary services as well.
Want to take action?
If you feel that your school does not provide adequate Indigenous student resources or you feel that current services require change, reach out to your school through the Ontario Universities’ Indigenous Student Resource contact page, providing quick links to each of the schools contact information.
